The Village of Merrimac

The Village of Merrimac is a separate government entity from the Town of Merrimac.  The Village as its own ordinance code and its own set of zoning regulations which affect citizens who live within the Village boundaries.  You can contact the Village of Merrimac at:

You will find the following in the Village of Merrimac:  Memorial Park, St. Mary's Church, the United Methodist Church, Immanuel Lutheran Church, the United States Post Office, Merrimac Community Charter School.


Local Utilities:  Alliant Energy (electric/gas), Verizon (telephone), and Merrimac Communications (cable) provide utility services to both the Town and the Village.  The Town does not have public sewer and water, however, the Village does provide this utility service if you live in the Village.
