- The Town Board meets the first
Tuesday at 7pm of each month. Persons wishing to appear may comment
during the citizen's comments portion of the meeting. For action to be
taken request to be submitted at least 1 week prior to the meeting.
- The Planning & Zoning
Commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm when there is
business. Zoning requests which do not require a public hearing should
be submitted at least 1 week prior to the meeting.
- The Board of Appeals convenes on
the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:00am when a hearing is necessary. Applicants
must submit a request no less than 30 days prior to a hearing being
scheduled.
- The Annual Town Meeting is the
first Tuesday in April.
- All meetings of the Town are at
the Town Hall unless
otherwise indicated on the Agenda.
- Minutes are unofficial until they
have been approved at the next month's meeting.
- Addendums to the agenda can
legally be posted at least 24-hours prior to the meeting, however, they may
not appear on the website.
This website is not a legal
posting location of the Town of Merrimac. We will attempt to post notices
here in a timely manner, however, citizens should check the notice boards at the
Town Hall, Charlie's Lakeside Store, and Palmer Manufacturing.
